It depends what you are doing with them. Consider that traffic exchanges are typically frequented by those who already have a business and are looking for ways to promote it. So instead of using traffic exchanges to promote your business opportunity use them to promote something other marketers need (marketing systems, traffic generation systems and reports, lead systems, etc.). One of the best things to promote at traffic exchanges is other traffic exchanges, which makes sense when you think about it.
And by the way, don't bother putting a company provided replicated website on a traffic exchange. I mean, if your site is the same as the one everyone else is seeing at that traffic exchange why would anyone click on yours over someone elses. You MUST stand out so make your own unique splash or capture pages and rotate or replace them regularly. Give people a reason to click on your page... otherwise you will be wasting your time.
