When I first started in the direct sales a few years ago, I tried to convince everyone I spoke to and didn't understand how come they didn't get it.  I have learned along the way and know that not everyone will see the value in what you have to offer.  You have to work with the willing.

What I have learned over the years, when you
communicate with your prospects, get to
know them while they're getting to know you.
This way, they feel comfortable working with
you. Find out what they know and what they
are doing to Earn extra income, before getting
into any details about your business.

Trying to convince anyone to join a business is never really a good idea. It is time consuming and when they join, they hardly take any action.

If you are using belly to belly marketing, one of the best ways to find the right prospects for your business is to qualify them with simple questions to determine if they have a need for your products or business opportunity.

As marketers, however, we should  learn how to produce and place ads on the internet. Let people looking for the opportunity to find you and then join you.

There are various ways that this can be done. Time and space will not allow me to.elaborate.

People join people not businesses.

The user 247Income makes a great point as I have tried the approach of trying to convince others and this methods yield minimal results however, if the user like, knows and trust there wont be a need to convince as most would tends to follow your leads once the user already knows you and can find your business of added value and help to their given needs or concerns.
