Make sure somebody wants your product before investing a lot of time and money.
I always ask 3 questions in the first meeting I have with the startups I mentor and these are:
Who is your Target group?
What is the Target group problem your product is solving?
What is your brand and product story supporting the fact that your product is the ultimate solution to the Target group issue.
These 3 questions are all designed to understand if there is a reason for the product/service to be and if there are people ready to buy the product/service. Get this wrong and you will struggle in making your company a success.
