No possibility of just ONE book to succinctly wrap up or possibly describe my childhood.

There were MANY:

National Geographic, Reader's Digest, Comedy, CarTunes, MAD, Playboy, Horror Jenre, Science Fiction, Popular Mechanics, Aliens, then there's the Bible: Old and New Testaments, Ghosts & Paranormal, Pirates, Westerns, Philosophy, Theosophy, Theology, Military.

I was all over the place.....and remain.

Here's a (not verbatim) question from the 1960 Movie The Time Machine :

"If you could go forward a few thousand Years and could only take 3 Books, what would they be?"--if a societal structure were akin to that of the movie--
